GoTravelTrek was born from a simple belief that India’s most extraordinary experiences rarely live inside guidebooks. They are found in quiet mountain villages, winding backroads, family-run homestays, hidden cafés, forest trails, forgotten heritage towns, and conversations with locals who know a place beyond its tourist map.
What started as a personal journey to explore India more deeply slowly evolved into GoTravelTrek, a platform dedicated to meaningful travel, local discoveries, and experiences that go beyond rushed itineraries and crowded checklists.
I created this space in 2014 for travellers who value connection over convenience, curiosity over trends, and stories over snapshots. Through destination guides, travel stories, hidden gems, scenic routes, local insights, and cultural experiences, my goal is to help people discover a more thoughtful and immersive side of travel across India.
With GoTravelTrek we also aim to shine a light on unique stays, eco retreats, local experiences, mindful escapes, independent travel initiatives, and lesser-known destinations that deserve to be seen and supported.
